Suryanarayan has over 38 years of experience in multinational FMCG & Apparel Retail Industry in Asia Pacific and India. He has worked in senior roles in leading global companies like Unilever, PepsiCo and Levi Strauss. He was Head of Levi’s business in South Asia & Japan and was a member of Levi Strauss & Co. APAC Leadership team in Singapore, handling different leadership roles over 8 years.


Besides having successfully led business operations, he has a proven track record that spans the areas of strategy development, process improvement, planning and business development. Sury has proven credentials in designing and leading implementation of large scale business transformation projects involving strategy, operating model and process change along with culture and organisation capability building. His detailed understanding of front end operations, supply chain and commercial acumen makes his approach holistic and comprehensive. He has been a key leader of several successful startup teams in Asia, India and Middle East.


He has led several new business initiatives and combines a strategic perspective along with on-ground experience of what it takes for consumer facing companies to succeed in emerging markets. Sury holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.

Anustup is the guiding force behind brand strategy development and implementation for our clients. His expertise lies in the areas of Brand Valuation, Strategic Planning and Market Research. He is Vertebrand’s longest serving employee, having joined Raghu in Vertebrand’s infancy. Having handled quantitative research and Corporate Planning functions across Titan and GlaxoSmithKline Pharma, Anustup then moved to an entrepreneurial innings at Vertebrand.


He is an Electronics Engineer from IIT, Madras and has followed this up with a Management diploma from IIM, Calcutta. A quizzer par excellence, Anustup has won several prestigious awards in national and international quiz competitions. His other interests include theatre, music and solving complex maths puzzles.

Rajesh is responsible for Market Strategy, Business Planning and Execution for a host of clients across various sectors, including Retail, Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Real Estate and Life Sciences. He has overall work experience of 23 years across organisations, across startups as well as large matrix organizations. His most recent assignment was with Technopak Advisors Ltd, a Management Consulting Firm, as Head of their Education Consulting Division.


Rajesh was a key member of the team that turned around Tanishq and made it a preferred jewellery brand in India. He has had stints in Sales, Marketing and Operations at Titan and Reliance Infocomm. Rajesh is an Alumnus of INSEAD; he also has a MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Surathkal.

Ashutosh is a Marketing Leader and Business Strategy professional with experience of over 20 years across Consulting, Startups, Telecom, FMCG and Marketing Services industry. He has worked with leading companies; Airtel, Reliance, Globacom, Amway and IMRB/ Millward Brown.


His expertise lies in developing Business Strategy frameworks, handling various aspects of marketing including Market Planning, Go-to-market Strategies, Marketing Communication, Digital Marketing, PR and Market Research. He has exposure to International markets, having worked in Africa as well. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) from JMI University and a MBA Business Economics (MBE) from University of Delhi.
